This accession includes photocopied research materials for the book "William Bartram, the Search for Nature's Design: Selected Art, Letters, and Unpublished Writings", a collection (published in 2010) of unpublished writings by the eighteenth-century American naturalist and traveler, edited by Thomas Hallock and Nancy Hoffman. Included are extensive transcriptions and photocopies of Bartram's unpublished writings, research notes, and research correspondence.
