This accession contains a transcript and tapes of an interview with Earlon McWhorter conducted by Dwayne Cox, Head of Special Collections and Archives at Auburn University, on January 23, 2009. In this interview, McWhorter discusses his appointment to the board, his service as a trustee, disagreements amoung the faculty, board, and alumni, and efforts to resolve them. Generally, the interview covers events during the administrations of Auburn Presidents William Muse, William Walker, and Jay Gogue.
