This accession includes research notes and research materials from Martin Olliff III, son of Martin Olliff, Jr., and at the time Assistant University Archivist in the Auburn University Libraries, for an article on Harold Franklin and the desegregation of Auburn University in 1964. The article, entitled “’Just Another Day on the Plains’: The Desegregation of Auburn University,” appeared in The Alabama Review in April 2001. The accession also includes a variety of ledgers and notebooks from Martin Olliff, Jr., including account books for a personal bank account and for his rental properties, and notebooks with engineering ideas. Finally, also included in this accession are materials on Olliff family genealogy.
