Collection includes Financial Papers, Minutes, Convention Information and Publication information on the Alabama Council. The collection also contains a large number of photographs. The collection covers from 1966-1989 most information is from the 1980's.

Biographical / Historical
The American Institute of Architects recieved its charter in Alabama in 1916. Formed to deal with regulation problems, the chapter grew and was incorporated in 1955. In 1965 several other chapters were created with The Council becoming the governing body
