Scope and Contents
This accession includes marching band drill charts and a book entitled The Auburn Band 1897 to 1972 by the Auburn Band Alumni Council. Materials in this accession date from the time of Auburn Band Director Dr. Wilbur "Bodie" Hinton (1956-1969), Dr. Bill "Doc" Walls (1969-1991), and Dr. Johnnie Vinson (1991-2007). Title was changed to Director of Bands in 1985.
