This accession contains artifacts pertaining to square dancing and "calling" for Samuel Rand Hood, a 1930 graduate in Mechanical Engineering at Alabama Polytechnic Institute, and his wife, Martha Hagan Hood.There are books on square dance patterns, pins/buttons, newspaper clippings, and three shirts (two handmade) that were used for square dancing.
