Arranged chronologically, this series includes letters of thanks for appearances, books, and tapes from professional associates and correspondence from fellow storytellers, libraries, book sellers, and University of Alabama press.

In the 1987 file, the script for the Hearts and Hands Project, Ferrero Films, is included. One photo is included with the Gulf Telephone correspondence. A newspaper clipping accompanies the correspondence from the Greenville Advocate.

Included in the 1988 file are letters from folklorist J.J. Reneaux and writer/storyteller Jesse Culp. There is a file for 1988-89 engagements declined.
