This accession contains materials from 3 chapters of the Alabama League of Women Voters: State Headquarters, Auburn Chapter and the Gadsden Chapter. Also included in this set, is a collection of the national publication, The National Voter (1958-1971). The State Headquarters materials include the capitol publications, The Alabama Voter (1959-1997) and the Capitol Newsletter (1994-1995), state council meetings (1984-1996), state conventions (1985-1997), state bylaws, constitutional revisions, membership lists and various workshop meetings. The Auburn Chapter consists of board meeting minutes (1959-1973), annual meetings (1977-1992), membership lists (1959-2011), photographs and various local government and voter workshops and studies. The Gadsden Chapter includes the local publication, The Gadsden Voter (1978-2001), membership lists (1981-1992), state correspondences (1984-1992), voter service materials and local government studies and workshops.
