This accession contains the composite, group photographs of the nursing graduates from Auburn University. Missing is the group from 2010. The composites were also digitized and a copy is located on the Special Collections and Archives department shared drive.

Biographical / Historical
The Auburn University School of Nursing (AUSON) was established in 1979 with twenty-seven students and five full-time faculty members. The first class to graduate from AUSON was in 1981, there were twenty-four students.
Today, the Auburn School of Nursing and the Auburn University Montgomery School of Nursing both offer a Master’s of Science in Nursing. They were approved by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education in Spring of 2010.

Physical Description
Fair to good. Some composite photograph groups have a sticky residue leftover from storage where double-sided sticky tape was attached when they were removed from the original frames and stacked. The residue was removed as best as possible and to keep the integrity of the photographs. Some photos were blemished as a result.
