Contains genealogical research on the Carlisle family of Coosa County, Alabama, as well as other families in Coosa County. Jesse (Jack) Harris Vardaman, Jr. began researching the Carlisle family as they related to the Vardaman lineage, but expanded his research to include other family lines later on.
