James Alexander Vardaman
James Alexander Vardaman was born February 6, 1840 in Harris Co. Georgia, and died September 8, 1925 in Harris Co. Georgia. He married Sarah Adelaide Johnson January 4, 1868. James, called Alex, was a confederate soldier from Harris Co. Georgia, and served as a 4th sergeant. James is buried in Getzen Baptist Church Cemetery in Forston, GA
