This accession contains ledger books and annual record accounting books specifically designed for retail drug stores used by the owner to record details of transactions for the year. Some of the books still contain supporting papers, receipts, tax forms, etc. which are inserted loosely throughout. Provides a good picture of retail drug store record systems prior to computers.
