This accession is divided into two series.

Series one, “Women’s Housing,” includes budget material, information on women’s housing and various dormitories, and one folder of material related to Hand et al. vs. Auburn University. This material comes from the Dean of Women, Women’s Dormitories, and Student Social Life departments and addresses women’s housing under the leadership of Dean Katharine Cooper Cater from the 1940s to the 1980s.

Series two, “Housing and Residence Life Brochures, Applications, Handbooks, and Notebooks,” contains housing brochures with applications, staff training handbooks, manuals, meeting information, and program evaluations from the 1980s to 2001.
