Scope and Contents

This accession consists of correspondence, primarily to and from J. W. Draughon (including some correspondence sent to his father, also named J. W. Draughon). Other primary recipients of correspondence are Lucille Draughon Rogers (daughter of J. W. Draughon), Emily Huggins, and Vassie Roney (future wife of J. W. Draughon), financial and tax records, Confederate currency and records, newspaper clippings, genealogy, insurance information, political material, and schoolwork with interspersed correspondence, a commission and a tax form.
