Scout Reports (Florida State University, Tulane University, University of Alabama, University of Tennessee, University of Florida, Georgia Institute of Technology, Louisiana State University, University of Kentucky, and University of Georgia), 1960 - 1961

This accession consists primarily of basketball artifacts from the 1950s-1960s. It includes scouting reports, photographs, newspaper articles, a t-shirt, a license plate, and a large banner. It also includes one photograph of Toomer's Corner dating approximately to the 1890s. Groover acquired most of these items during his time as a basketball player for Auburn University (then know as Alabama Polytechnic Institute or API). The newspaper articles, however, cover Auburn University basketball in the late 1960s after Groover has already graduated.
