Biographical / Historical
The group was founded as a participating study group, to meet monthly to discuss assigned current topics and contemporary writing. Membership was limited to twelve women and their spouses. The women met each month as a study group on current topics and to review contemporary writing. The entire group met once a month for dinner and a formal presentation on a topic selected b members as assigned. The last meeting was held in 1964. Miss Zoe Dobbs and Mollie Hollifield Jones were two of the founders.
