Contains correspondence, brochures, speeches, reports, and newsletters on the Alabama Council of Human Relations, a civil rights group, during the tenure of Nathaniel Welch as its president. Also some newspaper clippings of that era appearing in 1961, 1974, 1995.

Scope and Contents The records of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association include two bound volumes, as well as two folders of loose material. Volume one includes material from 1907 to 1919; volume two includes material from 1919 to 1952. Included in the records are: minutes from meetings, membership lists, programs, election of officers, etc. Of special interest are the materials in volume one which cover the constitution of the organization, and the materials in volume two which cover New Deal programs...

Contains the constitution, minutes, programs, notes, membership lists, and miscellaneous items. of the Nathaniel T. Lupton Conversation Club from 1887 to 1899. Includes a speech presented on the 25th anniversary of the Conversation Club pointing out the club's accomplishments along with reminiscences by Taccoa Cozart of club meetings in 1897.

This collection centers on the years 1970-1977 even though there is considerable material on the earlier years of the organization. The collection has been dividied into local, state, and nanational material. Of special interest in this collection, are the minutes of the Chapter from 1957-1959. Later accessions now expand coverage of the collection into the 1990's.
