This accession consists primarily of research data Sellers, a noted Alabama Historian and teacher, accumlated to write his books and articles. The research correspondence (1940-1965) deals with the acquisition of these materials. The research material consists of student papers, newspaper and journal articles, scattered minutes of the various organizations with which he dealt and some census records. There are also copies of some articles written by Sellers.
