The Collection consists of correspondence (1884-1944), primarily to Boyd, relating to Auburn and the Nu Chapter of Kappa Alpha fraternity; scrapbook (1888-1892) with college memorabilia; grade reports and exams (1888-1890); notebooks and notes (1882-1895); copy of Boyd's graduate essay and master's thesis (1895); and notes on John Dryden.

This collection contains a binder of photocopies of notes taken and classwork written by Walter Scott Crump while attending the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama. The topics primarily consist of poetry and literature.

Scope and Contents

Consists of one letter from William Emory Horne to his aunt, Susan Bourland Boswell Brown in Bullock County, Alabama. In the letter, written September 24, 1872, Horne described life at the school and in the town of Auburn, Alabama.
