Scope and Contents

This collection contains includes the church by-laws, membership listing, and minutes of church meetings from 1870-1902, all of which are contained in a single ledger record book, which lists sixty-four members during the period of active operation.

Scope and Contents Consists of records of the Alpine Baptist Church, a diary of Oliver Welch, and the scrapbooks of Samuel W. Welch on microfilm. The remainder of collection includes photocopied genealogies (1958) of the Darby, Welch and Mallory families, compiled by H. A. Darby; a paper (1942) on the Walker Reynolds' home, Mount Ida, by Margaret Reynolds Smith; a diary (1850-1860) of Rev.
