This series consists of principally photographic portraits, mounted or unmounted. The subjects of these portraits include: General Lane, George Petrie, and Matthew Sloan. Also included is a cartoon portraying George Petrie, and apparently drawn by Ralph B. Draughon Sr. of the Auburn Class of 1922, and later to be President of Auburn University (earlier named Alabama Polytechnic Institute); a reproduction copy of The Daily Citizen, Vicksburg, Mississippi, July 2, 1864; and certifictes.
