Consists of eight legal documents related to real estate transactions in Georgia and Alabama from 1886-1895. Acquisition record also ducments a newspaper, The True Union vol. 1 no. 27 (January 8, 1857) that is missing from the collection.

Consists of one letter from William Emory Horne to his aunt, Susan Bourland Boswell Brown in Bullock County, Alabama. In the letter, written September 24, 1872, Horne described life at the school and in the town of Auburn, Alabama.

This collection consists of letters (1862-63) from D.C.Crowder to Tommy Jarrell, who was serving in the Confederate Army, concerning the conscription laws of 1862; and miscellaneous family papers and letters (1847-1865) from unidentified persons.
