This collection contains photocopies of geneaology listings from the family Bible of William Turner of Talladega County, Alabama. The family tree spans from approximately 1796 to 1925. Also included are copies of funeral invitations and miscellaneous ephemeral items relating to the Turner and Jones families.

Collection includes material of the Walker family, early settlers in Talladega County, Alabama. The bulk of the material is antebellum, but the financial items date to the 1890's. Besides correspondence between 1846 and 1852 (primarily letters to Rosa Conrad Walker) the collection consists of financial papers, legal items, tax assessments and receipts, miscellaneous items such as poetry and a cloth bag, and several Civil War items, specifically a parole and pardon.

Darby; a paper (1942) on the Walker Reynolds' home, Mount Ida, by Margaret Reynolds Smith; a diary (1850-1860) of Rev. Scope and Contents

This collection includes transcripts of Whitby's Civil War letters, materials on 19th century dentistry in Alabama, and genealogical data on the Whitby family into the 1990s. It also includes a list of "Members who paid for Base Ball", dated March 1, 1866, four newspaper clippings about Dr. Whitby, copies of the newspaper clippings, and a typed biographical sketch of Dr. Whitby.
