This collection consists of official military reports created by the 46th Service Squadron of the United States Army Air Corp from April 1943 to May of 1945 while stationed in North Africa and Italy. Collection includes operational history, daily journals of activities and events, and miscellaneous reports received or issued by the unit during the Second World War.

Bishop's family and a copy if an article that appeared in the Memphis Press Schimitar on 11 and 12 November 1941 titled "Strolling with Eldon Roark, A Day in the Life of Mrs. Bishop."

This collection consists of one homemade diary and cigarette case of James S. Edwards. Edwards wrote the diary on the back of old German postcards. The journal describes his experience as a German prisoner of war, and he mentions other P.O.W.s that he met during his imprisonment. He made the cigarette case out of tin, and it contains 14 unfiltered cigarettes.

Farrell preparing to leave for service with the United States Army, and scenes from his Army service and travels. The Army scenes include some photographs of the occupation of Japan after the Second World War.

This collection contains letters from Ted S. Faulkner to Frances S. Faulkner, his mother, and Helen Yearden, his aunt, while serving in the U.S. Army Air Force. It also contains letters from his wife Fern Faulkner to her mother-in-law. The letters discussed Ted Faulkner's training, life during basic training and while serving in the army, information on areas he was stationed at, and matters at home in Seattle or where his family was living at the time.
