This collection includes correspondence, legal records, local and family histories, census records, notes, military records, newspaper clippings, genealogical sketches, charts, and miscellaneous items. Photocopies of some originals are interspersed throughout the papers.

Floyd (1862), a memorandum book of Harriet Griffin Floyd's recording her expenses (1885-1927), Harriet Floyd's obituary (1929), photographs, and Floyd and Griffin family genealogical information (1909-1927).
