Carroll Family Papers
This accession consists of several albums of stamps and pamphlets on stamp collecting. This accession also contains loose stamps, postcards, and a 1943 war ration book.
George Washington Carver Letters
Contains correspondence from George Washington Carver to Reverend Axel Lundeberg concerning agricultural experiments and Lundeberg’s efforts to secure the Nobel Prize for Carver; newspaper articles; and one letter from Booker T. Washington to Lundeberg acknowledging receipt of Lundeberg’s previous letter. Also contains correspondence between George Washington Carver and Alabama Polytechnic Institute student Troy Foster.

Patrick Cather Papers
This collection primarily consists of menus, photos, recipes, and other food and restaurant related ephemera, mostly from Alabama. Many of the items were collected from restaurants Patrick Cather visited and are annotated with his opinions of the experience. Other items were purchased as collectibles by Cather. Also included in the collection are a Kiwanis Club Scrapbook, World Baptist Alliance Scrapbook, and vintage Auburn University memorabilia.

Contains 29 bank notes issued by the Central Bank of Alabama between 1855 and 1861 in denominations of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 20. Also contains one facsimile of a $3 Republic of Texas note from 1840.
Henry H. Chaffee Diary
The 120-page diary covers the entire year of 1963 and includes accounts of the Battle of Chancellorsville and the Battle of Gettysburg.

This accession consists of one letter written by Jacques Joseph ChampollionFigeac in which he discusses library business. Specifically, he has borrowed two books or manuscripts and says that he needs one for one more month and the other for two more months. The handwriting is difficult to read. This letter was acquired from James Messenger.
